Carol A. Dingwall, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 18, 2022 at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Russell S. and Julia F. (Rutkowski) Dell.
In 1968, Carol married John T. Dingwall, Jr. Mr. Dingwall predeceased her in 2003. Carol was employed as a waitress at John’s Flaming Hearth Restaurant as well as at the Hotel Niagara. Most recently, she worked on the Assembly Line for NRD, LLC in Grand Island, NY until her retirement. Carol was a Past President of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Lewiston #2 Fire Company, a member of the Buff Social Club, and a Former Member of the Moose Lodge. Carol enjoyed reading, completing word search puzzles and crocheting. In addition, she enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband prior to his passing. More than anything, Carol will be remembered for her fun-loving and laughing nature, and her ability to always have a good joke at the ready.
Carol is survived by her children, Deborah Sajdak, John Sajdak, Cheryl (Michael) Seick, and Scott Dingwall; her stepchildren, Robert ‘Bobby’ (JoAnn) Dingwall and Sandy Dingwall; her grandchildren, John Sajdak, Jessica Kreuger, Christopher Bondi, Gabriella Seick, and Ashley Rodriguez; several great-grandchildren; her Goddaughter, Kimberly Spriggs, her sister-in-law, Myrabelle (late Anthony) Quaranto, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband of 35 years, she was predeceased by her brother, Jack Dell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 7 PM. Prayers of Committal will take place on Friday, December 23 at 11 AM at Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, 5871 Military Road, Lewiston, NY 14092.
