The Sabres have signed forward John-Jason Peterka to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Highlights:
- Tied for sixth among Red Bull München players in goals in 2020-21, finishing the season with 20 points (9+11) in 30 games.
- Tied for third in tournament scoring with 10 points (4+6) in five games for Team Germany at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship after notching six points (4+2) in seven games at the 2020 tournament.
- Made his professional debut at age 17 with Red Bull München in 2019-20, recording 11 points (7+4) in 42 DEL contests.
- Scored one goal in six games for Team Germany at the 2021 IIHF World Championship.
