This week’s featured entertainer is Trainwreck at Patchwork Theatre.
The Patchwork Theatre of Niagara is a small 40 seat black box theatre located in the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, which used to be an old highschool. We have converted an old chemistry lab into what is now the Patchwork Theatre, bringing you the indie DIY shows you want to see. Created by members of the local rock group Billy Draws Two, the founders understand the DIY attitude of taking risks. our goal is to bring you the highest quality productions to the most unlikely places.
TRAINWRECK is based on the concept album by rock/post-hardcore band Boys Night Out released in 2005. The story follows a man who murders his wife in his sleep and slowly loses his mind. Analyzed by a doctor, he is sent to trial, committed and ultimately released to discover he has visions of his deceased wife… the more destructive he is to himself and others, the clearer he can see her.
This iconic album has been turned into a full musical for the very first time by Niagara Falls’ own Billy Horn and Rosemarie Lorenti and is very close to selling out every day! Don’t miss your chance to see our local talent in an intimate setting before this takes off! 4 performances will take place at 8:00pm (house opens at 7:30) every day June 1st through 4th. Tickets are $23 each, and these shows are open to All Ages!
