BUFFALO — If your idea of a good time is a fresh cup of joe and fresh air, you might want to be at Delaware Park around 10 a.m. Thursday for Buffalo’s second #CoffeeOutside gathering.

Following the success of the first #CoffeeOutside on March 11 in Shoshone Park, organizers decided to follow up with a second meeting at Delaware Park’s playground near Florence and Parkside avenues.

Simply put, #CoffeeOutside is a national movement inviting people to get together and not only drink — but brew — coffee in the great outdoors. For Thursday’s assembly in Buffalo, organizers have offered to provide a camping stove, French presses, a moka pot, and tea kettle, as well as coffee grounds and a selection of teas. They’ll also bring a thermos full of hot coffee for people to enjoy whilst the brewing occurs.

Following the coffee, a bike ride may break out. Participants are asked to bring their own mugs — and bikes if they take part in the casual neighborhood ride.

A future #CoffeeOutside is being planned for a Sunday in May.
