This week’s featured show is Herd Fest 2017.

Herd Fest is a music festival located in Buffalo, NY starting on Thursday, June 15th, 2017 and ending on Sunday, June 18th 2017. Curated by Buffalo-based indie music website buffaBLOG, the festival will take over numerous venues to showcase the talents of local, regional, and national bands of all genres.

Just a brief hour and a half drive from Toronto, Herd Fest coincides with famed Canadian music festival NXNE. Over the past three years, they have worked with over 185 bands, DJs, emcees, and businesses as well as attracting over 4,000 people individuals who have attended Herd Fest events. Prices for each show range from only $5 to $7 cover at the door.

The festivities start on June 15th, as Day 1 includes two shows. Mohawk Place hosts Hundred Plus Club, Dreambeaches, Sammus, & God Save The Queen. Nietzsche’s hosts The Rust Belt Brigade, Stress Dolls, Wren Williams & The Son Of Luther, Cannon The Brave, Award Show, & Ryan Howze.

Day 2 (June 16th) kicks off at Mohawk Place with GRIFFIN!, Kerry Fey, Qwelis, Jack, Big Fred, Humble Braggers, Nylon Otters, Bold Folly, & Dean Chatham. Milkies hosts K Rob, Rap And Destory, Mad Dukez, Short Moscato, & MileHighMuzik. Nietzsche’s will have SHEDS, Total Yuppies, Cooler, FEVERBOX, Ian McCuen, & Dance Yrself Clean on the stage. While across the street at Duke’s Bohemian Grove Bar there will be performances by MAGS, SMUG, & Matthew Danger Lippman.

June 17th (Day 3) has Johnny & The Man Kids, The Gennies, Kissing Is A Crime, Suburbs, Gillian, & Younger Then at Mohawk Place. Buffalo’s underground venue Dreamland features Coral Collapse, Deadwolf, Buffalo Sex Change, & Passed Out. Milkie’s showcases Small Smalls, Dead Lounge, White Shade, Into The Wake, & Filthy Gorgeous. While on Allen, Neitsche’s hosts Telempathy, New Masons, Bearhunter, The Leones, Dogs In Stereo, & Lesionread. & at Duke’s Bohemian Grove Bar there will be Made Violent, Ugly Sun, & The Eaves.

& it all closes with one big show on Day 4 (June 18th) at Mohawk Place featuring Planet Three, Major Arcana, A Relative Term, & The Etchings! Go out and support your local scene, have a great time, and keep the wonderful things that BuffaBlog & Herd Fest do for our community thriving!
