PORTVILLE — A 66-year-old Wellsville woman was charged Wednesday with driving while ability impaired by drugs following a one-car crash on Ceres Road.
According to New York State Police, Lois E. Whiteman was determined to be impaired by drugs when Troopers arrived at the crash scene. Criminal history records revealed Whiteman had been previously convicted of driving while intoxicated withing the past 10 years.
Whiteman was arrested, processed and arraigned in the Town of Portville Court. She was released on her own recognizance and is to reappear in the Town of Portville Court on Monday.
