TOWN OF LOCKPORT — Niagara County Sheriff Jim Voutour announced the arrest of three people this week related to welfare fraud investigations conducted by Niagara County Department of Social Services, Niagara County District Attorney’s Office, and Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Welfare Fraud Division.

Charged were 43-year-old Craig Sager of Tonawanda, 25-year-old Jolene Kress of Lockport and 22-year-old Queen Harris of Buffalo.

Sager’s charges included fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree welfare fraud and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing.

Kress was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree welfare fraud, and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing.

Harris was charged with petit larceny and second-degree offering a false instrument for filing.

All three were issued appearance tickets for future court dates.
