OLCOTT — The Niagara County Dept. of Health has re-opened Olcott Beach to swimmers.
The beach had been closed due to unsafe bacteria levels in the water, but new testing shows that the “water is suitable for swimming,” according to the health department.
The Niagara County Department of Health will continue to monitor water quality closely and will immediately notify the public of any problems associated with water quality.
