ALBANY — State Sen. Rob Ortt will present law enforcement agencies in Niagara County with a total of $50,000 in state funding for public protection efforts.

Senator Ortt secured the funding as part of the 2016-17 State Budget. The Lockport Police Department and the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office will receive $10,000 each. The Niagara County District Attorney’s Office and the Niagara County Veterans Court are set to receive $15,000 each.  

A presentation is planned for 1 p.m. Monday at the Lockport Police Department.
