NIAGARA FALLS — A 21-year-old Niagara Falls woman was charged Tuesday with seventh-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a Niagara Street traffic stop.

According to New York State Police, Savannah Fiorentini was stopped at approximately 10:31 pm, after she failed to signal a left hand turn.  Following the stop, Troopers noticed an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and subsequently found a pipe containing burnt marijuana residue and an unmarked pill bottle containing several Alprazolam pills.

Fiorentini was issued appearance tickets returnable in the City of Niagara Falls Court.
