The Canisius College golf team will continue its fall season Monday and Tuesday when the team takes part in The Connecticut Cup at the Ellington Ridge Country Club.
Canisius freshman David Hanes shot a four-under par score of 68 in the first round of the Matthews Auto Collegiate Invitational Oct. 2, his second-straight round in the 60s. The Elma, New York native posted a career-low score of 66 in the second round of the Little Three Championship Sept. 28. The score of 66 in the second round of the Little Three Championship allowed Hanes to win individual medalist honors, and secured his spot in the field at the 2017 Porter Cup.
