The Canisius swimming and diving program will host Binghamton Saturday afternoon for the team’s Senior Day held at 12 p.m. from the Burt Flickinger Center.

The Griffs will honor 12 seniors, Sarah DiMayo, Hannah Graesser, Karly Hartz, Jacquie Sagasta and Marissa Watroba on the women’s side, with Michael Berg, Brent Carbone, Gustavo dos Santos, Cameron MacDonald, Marc Ruszaj, Wyatt Sintay, and Christian Westermeier being honored on the men’s side.

The Griffs are coming off of a loss to St. Bonaventure last weekend that saw junior Rebecca Anthone win three individual events, as well being a part of the winning women’s 200 free relay.  Senior’s dos Santos and Westermeier won the 200 and 50 free events respectively, with sophomore James Pokornowski winning the 1,000 free.

The Griffs last faced Binghamton during the 2006-07 season, with the Blue and Gold losing by an overall score of 183-84.

A pregame ceremony honoring the 12 graduating athletes will be held at 11:40 a.m., twenty minutes prior to the beginning of tomorrow’s meet. For final results and updates follow GoGriffs.com and GriffsSwim on Twitter.
