BUFFALO — The Canisius College track team has officially released its 2017 schedule, head coach Nate Huckle announced this afternoon.

The Griffs will begin the 2017 indoor season traveling to Rochester, N.Y. to take part in the RIT Invitational on Jan. 14, before running in the Upstate Challenge on Jan. 21 to round out the team’s first month of action.

The Blue and Gold will compete in the Youngstown Invitational and Kane Invitational during the month of February, before competing in the MAAC Championship Feb. 18-19 and the ECAC/IC4A Championship several weeks later Mar. 4-5.

The team will begin its outdoor season at the Geneseo Invite on Apr. 1, while competing in several other meets during the month of April, including the NAZ/ROC City Invite, Brockport Invite, Bucknell Bison Invite, Penn Relays and the UB Invitational.

The Golden Griffins will close their season with the MAAC Championship and ECAC/IC4A Championship held Apr. 6-7 and Apr. 12-14 respectively, with several members of the team also competing in the Gator Last Chance Invite on Apr. 12.
