Cyril M. Wick passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 8, 2016, in Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born in Lockport on December 18, 1919, he was the son of the late Jacob and Julia Hentges Wick.

Cyril served in the US Army Air Corp from 1942 until 1945, as a Sergeant. He worked at Harrison Radiator for 33 years, as a flux room attendant, retiring in 1982. Cyril was a charter member of the Wrights Corners Volunteer Fire Company, was a member and past president of the Holy Name Society at St. Mary’s Church, and the Knights of Columbus Council #319 and 4th Degree Assembly #754. Cyril is predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Eichinger) Wick, who passed away August 12, 2016, also his grandson Kevin Wick and great grandson Asa Martin McHenry.

Cyril is survived by his children, Ronald Wick, Phyllis (Boyd) Clausen, Paul (Kathleen) Wick, Gerry (Mindy) Wick, Catherine (John) Donovan, Judith (Joseph) Carr, Elizabeth (Daniel) Beiter, and Jennifer (Robert) Lynch; grandfather of 24 and great grandfather of 34; brother of Mary Hahn and the late Florence Randall, Gregory Wick, Anna Eifert, Gertrude Gaul, Regina Erck, Harold Wick and Norbert Wick and Lorraine Clark; brother in-law of Howard (Lois) Eichinger, Marce Eichinger and the late James Eichinger; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday December 12, 2016, 4-8 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11 AM, in in St. Brendan on The Lake RC Church, 3455 Ewings Rd., Newfane, NY 14108. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. Memorials to the St. Brendan on the Lake Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
