WHEATFIELD — A 27-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Lockport Road.

According to New York State Police, Nathan Runge was reported to be driving erratically around 10:45 p.m. Troopers stopped him and noticed an odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath. That led to field sobriety tests and a breath test showing a blood alcohol content of .10 percent.

Runge was issued appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Wheatfield Court.
