Linda Taylor is now in heaven with her adored father, John ‘Jack’ Taylor and brother late James ‘Jim’ Taylor. Linda is survived by her dear mother Janet ‘Jennie’ Taylor as well as her older brother John ‘Jack’ Taylor and his wife Jean, beloved cousin Robert ‘Bobby’ Taylor, his wife Evelyn, friend and sister-in-law Ursula Taylor. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews Teresa Steen, Susan (Taylor) Bakas her husband David Bakas, and Molly Taylor. Also great nieces and nephews Tommy, Clara Jean, Cole and Jack. Linda is also survived by nephew Jeffrey Hannigan his wife Debby, and special nieces Megan, Caitlin, and Erin. Finally, Linda is also leaving her best friend, Riley Taylor.

Linda was an acclaimed teacher at Roy B. Kelley for 33 years and then a professor at Buffalo State College. She was an active member of her church, First Presbyterian Church were served as a Deacon, and also served on the Board of Directors for the Kenan Center, and recently had a scholarship named after her.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, Jan. 3rd 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 4th at 11 AM in First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church St., Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Linda Taylor Scholarship of Kenan Center of Lockport or to the church would be appreciated.
