NIAGARA FALLS — A 52-year-old Niagara Falls man was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Hyde Park Boulevard.

According to New York State Police, David Edwards was stopped for a lane violation at approximately 10:30 p.m. and determined to be intoxicated. He was taken to the Niagara Troopers barracks and found to have a .19 percent blood alcohol content.

He was issued appearance tickets returnable in the City of Niagara Falls Court.
