BUFFALO — The Buffalo Sabres goal-scoring trend continued tonight as they put four into the net of the Philadelphia Flyers en route to a 4-1 win at KeyBank Center.

Sam Reinhart scored the Sabres first goal at 5:15 of the first period. Rasmus Ristolainen and Ryan O’Reilly assisted on Reinhart’s ninth goal of the season. At 8:39 of the second period, William Carrier scored his second of the season, assisted by Tayler Fedun and O’Reilly. Evander Kane made it 3-0 with nine seconds remaining in the period. Reinhart and Zach Bogosian assisted.

In the third period, Brayden Schenn’s power play goal got the Flyers on the board with 2:07 remaining. Claude Giroux and Ivan Provorov assisted. Marcus Foligno buried an empty netter from Reinhart and Jake McCabe with just four seconds to play.

The win gives Buffalo a 16-15-9 record for 41 points. The Sabres play again Thursday in Tampa against the Lightning.
