Remigius Czekaj passed away February 4, 2017 in Eastern Niagara Hospital. Born August 15, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Joseph and Cecilia (Golanka) Czekaj. Remigius served in the Army from 1959 to 1962, when he returned he went to work for CMSB Magnetics in Middleport, NY. He is the husband of Marilyn (Gately) Czekaj; father of Mark (Christine) Czekaj of Newfane and Lynn Czekaj of Clarence. He is also survived by grandchildren Miles and Max Czekaj, Ryan Patrick Reid and Sierra Cona was the brother of Felecia Szpilewski, Cecilia Martyjas and Josephine Gruszewski and nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday February 7, 2017 from 3 to 6 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY, were funerals services will immediately follow at 6 PM. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 315 Alberta Drive, Amherst, NY 14226 would be appreciated by the Family.
