JAMESTOWN — A 35-year-old Buffalo woman was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated and drug possession following a traffic stop.

According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to Foote Avenue where they had received a report of a woman leaving an area gas station, possibly in an intoxicated condition. The suspect vehicle was located driving without any lights on, pulled over and Michelle Harrison was determined to be intoxicated. She was additionally charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance in a non-original container after for hydrocodone pills for which she did not have a prescription.

Harrison was arraigned in the Town of Busti Court and released on her own recognizance.
