NEW ORLEANS – The Buffalo State women’s cross country team earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III All-Academic Team honors for the 2016 season, announced today per the association’s release.

The Bengals scored a cumulative 3.21 grade-point average as a team through the fall 2016 semester to earn the All-Academic team award.  

Buffalo State was one of 216 women’s programs in the nation that met the requirement of having a minimum team GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale.

Fredonia (3.40), Oneonta (3.39), Brockport (3.33), New Paltz (3.18) and Geneseo (3.15) were the other State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) teams to earn the distinction.
