PRINCETON, NJ – The University at Buffalo men’s tennis team won its fourth straight match on Saturday as the Bulls defeated Bryant, 6-1.  The match was played in Princeton, NJ.  With the win, the Bulls are now 5-3 on the year.

Buffalo swept its way through doubles, including blowouts at two and three.  The number two duo of Villhelm Fridell and Petr Vodak won 6-2, while the number three team of Tony Miller and Ethan Nittolo dropped just one game in a 6-1 victory.  Filip Grbic and Hao Sheng Koay completed the sweep of doubles with a 7-6 victory at one.

The Bulls won five of the six matches in singles, all of them in straight sets.  Vidit Vaghela scored a 6-2, 6-3 victory at second singles, while Grbic won 6-4, 6-2 at three.  Fridell won 6-0, 6-1 at four and Vodak won 6-3, 6-3 at five. Nittolo won at sixth singles 6-1, 6-2.  Freshman Konstantinos Tsakiris won his exhibition match on Saturday, 6-1, 5-7, 10-6.

The Bulls will remain in New Jersey Sunday when they face Princeton.
