ALLEGANY — A 54-year-old Bradford, Pa. man was charged around 10 p.m. Friday with driving while intoxicated at a DWI checkpoint.

According to New York State Police, Michael G. Jones was stopped because of an odor of alcohol. He failed field sobriety tests and was then found to have a .13 percent blood alcohol content when taken to the Olean Troopers’ barracks.

Jones was issued tickets returnable in the Town of Allegany in April 2017.
