BATAVIA — A 25-year-old Batavia man was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on West Main Road.
According to New York State Police, Troopers performed a vehicle and traffic stop around 10 p.m., where it was determiend that John Moon was under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to SP-Batavia, where he was found to have a .17 percent blood alcohol content.
Moon was released on given tickets to return to the Town of Batavia in April 2017.
