LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The track and field team competed at the Rider Invitational at Rider University on Saturday. The Bulls had several Top-Five finishes at the event.
Nikari Carota and Samantha Hjelmar both finished second in their respective events. Carota clocked in at 14.59 in the women’s 100H for second, while Hjelmar cleared a height of 1.65m (5′ 5″) for second in the high jump. William Hilbert clocked in at 15:26.91 in the 5000m for third place.
Christian Doherty clocked in at 15.01 in the 110H. Mitchell Fuller and John Anderson both took fifth in their respective events. Fuller clocked in at 11.14 in the 100m dash for fifth, while Anderson threw for a distance of 13.98m (45′ 10.5″) in the men’s shot put for fifth.
The Bulls are back in action April 14th at the Bison Open.
