TOWSON, Md. — Buffalo State’s 4×100-meter relay raced to a nationally-ranked time, and Elizabeth Wall (Horseheads/Horseheads) set a school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase as the Bengals places seventh of 16 teams in the predominantly Division I Towson Invitational.

Dayonna Holmes (Rochester/Charlotte), Satin Holmes (Rochester/Wilson Magnet), Catarra Burroughs (Rochester/Wilson Magnet) and Keanna McKnight (Queens/Springfield Gardens) finished third in the 4×100-meter relay with the fifth-best time in Division III this season at 47.60 seconds. Wall raced to a victory in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a school-record time of 11:39.34. Ronni Kordrupel (East Aurora/Iroquois) also had a strong showing with the 23rd-ranked time in Division III this season in the 800-meter dash, placing fourth in 2:15.67. Tiffany Raymond (Baldwin/Baldwin) was sixth in the 400-meter dash (58.64), Burroughs was seventh in the 100-meter dash (12.64), and Mackenzie Myott (S. Glens Falls/S. Glens Falls) was seventh in the pole vault (2.80m).

Buffalo State will visit Baldwin Wallace next Saturday.
