This past Thursday the Planning Director Chairman, Eric Gillert, committed a serious lie concerning the ImagineAmherst project. Kind of a lie of omission. He told the Planning Board he was instructed to inform them by some unknown entity: Click here to hear his statement.
When he was asked who gave him the order to accelerate the ImagineAmherst project he said he didn’t know who gave him the order. This left the ImagineAmherst committee completely in the dark. Mr. Gillert is a infamous liar who rarely if ever tells the public the truth unless he caught in a lie like the one you heard him just say. Imagine Amherst is the worst infection to hit Amherst ever It was met to help the people of Amherst instead it has taken our green space and nature beauty and is turning Amherst into a concrete mess for the profit of developer and crooked people in our local government.

Gillette’s tongue must be held to the flame until he answers who or whom is running the ImagineAmherst project. All it is doing is burying Amherst under a mountain of developer’s dreams of millions of dollars in profit for them and Gillert and his gang of thieves.
The information he gave to the Planning Board is public information and his refusal to give this information to Mary Sharpio, a Planning Board member is a crime.
Mr. Gillert has no control of the Planning Board. He has no right to take over this project. The only person who could command Mr. Gillert to change the direction of the ImagineAmherst Project is Supervisor Weinstein. This means that Mr. Gillert knew who instructed him to tell the Planning Board about the new orders which he lied about to the entire Planning Board when he refused to tell them.
