Mary Elma Leonard Sullivan, entered into eternal rest on June 11, 2017 at Buffalo General Hospital. She was born in Monroeville, PA, on April 2, 1927 to the late Constantine and Mary Leonard. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph W. Sullivan in 1983. She is survived by her 6 children, Kathleen (David) Myrick, Joseph Sullivan Jr., Thomas (Regina) Sullivan, Karen ( Frank) Nubelo, Mary Ann (Tom) Cox and Timothy (Jaye) Sullivan; Seventeen grandchildren , Mary (Jon) VanAnda, Charles (Mary) Myrick, Tricia Muskgrave, Anissa (Jim) Martin, Michael Sullivan, Beth (Shawn) Kelm, Jennifer (Aaron) MacDonald, Mollie (Adam) Mark, Alexis (Brett) Becker, Peter (Renee) Sullivan, Allison (Joe) Lorenzo, Margo Nubelo, Kelly (Scott) Peyton, Christopher Nubelo, Melissa (Michael) Burke, Mackenzie (Adam) Smith and a very special grand-daughter, Michele Cox, who cared for her for the past several years. She is survived by 22 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Clair (Marieanne) Leonard, her sisters, Ruth (late Jimmy) Bacco, Rosie (Mike) Uchnar, Isabelle LaRue, Theresa Rawson, sister-in-law, Dorothy Leonard and her late brothers Joseph (Mary) Leonard, Martin, Edward and Carl Leonard and her late sister Velma (Nick) Mrdjenovich. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mary was an avid card player through-out her life. She also enjoyed golf and bowling. She was a member of Lockport Senior Center, The Memory Minders, and past member of UAW, The American Legion, the Women’s Hibernian Group , SR. Center Travelers Club, Middleport Golf Club and St. Anthony’s Church . She was retired from Harrison Radiator in Lockport.

Relatives and Friends may call Thursday, June 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 16th at 10 AM to be celebrated in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Donations to the Dale Association would be appreciated.
