Phyllis B. Walters passed away July 9, 2017 in the Messiah Village Nursing Facility in Mechanicsburg, PA. Born December 10, 1923 in Lockport she was the daughter of Edward T. and Gladys R. (Chase) Baudendistel. Phyllis worked for Marine Midland Bank where she was a bookkeeper. She enjoyed both western line dancing and square dancing and also home bureau. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Carl Walter in 2003.
Phyllis is survived by her son, Scott (Carol) Walters of Harrisburg, PA; grandchildren Dr. Amy Lynn (Alan) Gust of Knoxville, TN, Jason Andrew, Shawn Edward (Laura) of Syracuse, NY, and Darren Scott (Stephanie) of Centerville, VA; great grandchildren Sienna and Talia Gust; predeceased by sister Mildred E. Gervan.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday, July 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 14th at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Boys Town, 14100 Crawford St., Boys Town, NE 68010.
