Margaret M. Stockton passed away July 26, 2017 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born May 8, 1936 in Lockport she was the daughter of Stanley and Eva (Fitzgerald) Watier. Margaret worked as a bank teller for Niagara Permanent Savings Bank and was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and Covenant United Church of Christ in Gasport. She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, working on crafts, shopping and trips to the casino.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 58 years William L. Stockton; mother of Jeffrey Stockton, Lori (Michael) Stockton-Petrishin and late Timothy Stockton; grandmother of Jamie, Tommy, and Mellisa; great grandmother of Alexis, Bryce, Kingston, and Vada; sister of Michael (Sandra) Watier and late Roy and Peter Watier; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, July 29th from 11 AM – 12 Noon with services following at 12 Noon in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Memorial donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
