FAIRFIELD, C.T. — Forecasted cold weather on Saturday has forced the Canisius baseball team to adjust its weekend schedule, head coach Matt Mazurek announced Friday evening.
Canisius’ three-game series with Fairfield at the Demske Sports Complex has been changed to a single game on Saturday with two games to be played on Sunday. The first game of the series is set to start at 2:30 p.m., on Saturday afternoon, and Sunday’s twinbill will begin at 11 a.m.
The Golden Griffins open their first home series of the season with an 11-6 record. Fairfield is 5-11 in 2018.
