JAMESTOWN — A 35-year-old Jamestown man was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop.
According to New York State Police, Vincent Capizzi was pulled over on Foote Avenue Extension in Jamestown for a traffic violation and while speaking to Capizzi, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Capizzi was found to be in possession of a marijuana cigarette and subsequently placed under arrest. Capizzi was issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Kiantone Court on a later date.
