STOCKTON — A 25-year-old Jamestown man was charged Tuesday with second-degree burglary following an investigation.

According to New York State Police, Troopers received a complaint of a rifle stolen from a residence in Stockton. Investigation revealed that Tommy Hale removed the rifle from the residence and sold it to a third party. The rifle was ultimately recovered and Hale was arrested. Hale was processed at SP Jamestown, arraigned in the town of Stockton Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
