Game Recap

  • The Bobcats took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second after a solo homerun from Liam Scafariello.
  • In the top of the fourth, McCauley stole home plate to tie the score, 1-1, and give NU its only run of the game.
  • Quinnipiac added on three runs in the bottom of the fourth and five runs in the bottom of the seventh frame to come away with the 8-1 victory and the series win.

  • Six Purple Eagles (Gallup, McCauley, Greg Cullen, Peter Battaglia, Wyatt Olson and Benny Serrano) recorded one hit.
  • Gallup, McCauley and Serrano each had one stolen base.
