Sikora and KordrupelINDIANAPOLIS, I.N. — The NCAA officially announced the accepted entries into the 2018 Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and Cody Sikora (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) and Ronni Kordrupel (East Aurora/Iroquois) will both be representing Buffalo State at the meet hosted by Wisconsin-LaCrosse on May 24-26.
 
Sikora, a sophomore criminal justice major, will make his second appearance at nationals to compete in the 400-meter dash, qualifying 14th of 20 with a time of 47.95 seconds. He finished 12th at the indoor championships in March.
 
Kordrupel, a junior hospitality administration major, will make her first appearance at the NCAA Championships in the 1,500-meter run, qualifying with the 19th-best time in the 22-runner field with a school-record mark of 4:33.32.
 
Kordrupel will compete in the prelims on Thursday at 2:45 p.m. with the finals scheduled for Saturday at 12:35 p.m.  Sikora will run in the prelims on Friday at 4 p.m. and the finals are slated for Saturday at 1:10 p.m. (Note all times are Central). The top-8 finishers in each event will be named All-Americans.
