CAPPELLO – John J. Of Orchard Park, entered into rest June 23, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Virginia A. (nee Ernst) Cappello; devoted father of Diane (Kent) Rosborough, Ray (Joette) Cappello, John Cappello, Gary (Heidi) Cappello, Kathryn Rainforth, Kenneth (Helen) Cappello, and Robert (Julie) Cappello; cherished grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Pasquale and Catherine Cappello; dear brother of the late Patrick Cappello.
Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Monday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 26 Thorn Ave., Orchard Park on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. (Please assemble at church.)
Mr. Cappello was a Navy veteran of WWII.
