Rachel M. D’Agostino passed away August 3, 2018.  Born November 5, 1935 in Lancaster, NY she was the daughter of Carl and Jenny (Liacono) Gnagnarelli.  Rachel graduated from Lancaster High School and worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance where she was a sales representative.  She was a member of the local, state, and national NY State PTA for over 60 years and a member of All Saints Parish where she served on the Education Committee and was a Eucharistic Minister.  Rachel was awarded the Key To The City of Lockport under the former mayor the late Thomas Rontondo.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother spending as much time with her family and her church.  Rachel was predeceased by her son, Michael D’Agostino.

Rachel is survived by her husband of 61 years, Salvatore J. “Sam” D’Agostino; children Samuel D’Agostino, Anna Marie Pera, and Terri Ann (Anthony) Scrivano; daughter-in-law Kathleen D’Agostino Wilson; siblings Louis Gnagnarelli, Anthony (Ellie) Gnagnarelli, and Rosie Kaufman; also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, grand puppy Annabelle, plus her many cats that she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, August 7th from 3-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 8th at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.  Donations to the church would be appreciated.
