BUFFALO, N.Y.— Buffalo State applied consistent pressure by outshooting the Pioneers 18-8, but could not break through in a 0-0 tie to visiting Utica in tonight’s non-conference contest on Coyer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Allie Reeds (E. Amherst/Williamsville South) and Emma Krenzer (Scottsville/Aquinas) led the Bengals with two shots on goal respectively.
- Buffalo State controlled the contest in the first half, holding an 8-1 advantage in shots by halftime.
- Utica returned the favor with two of its best chances to score in the second half, but each were turned away en route to a five-save performance by goalie Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush).
- The Bengals outshot the Pioneers 2-1 in the overtime periods to close out the game.
- Buffalo State held the advantage in corners by an 8-2 margin.

- Allison Wagner recorded eight saves in net for the Pioneers.
