HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Big Red opened the scoring just 1:33 into the contest and then extended the lead with two more goals less than three minutes apart in the 33rd and 36th minutes.
- Buffalo State was unable to maintain enough possession to mount a comeback bid, managing just one shot attempt in 90 minutes, compared to 18 by Denison.
- Denison completed the scoring on a penalty kick in the 88th minute.
- Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) finished with six saves for Buffalo State.
