ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Buffalo State competed in its first 8K meet of the season in the heat today at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational at Genesee Valley Park, placing 14th of 14 teams.

  • Greg Avila-Shah (Lewiston/Lewiston-Porter) led Buffalo State, finishing 78th in the 203-runner field, clocking 28:59.2.
  • Freshman Josh Glaub (West Seneca/West Seneca East) crossed 105th in his first long course race with a time of 29:43.2
  • Josh Behuniak (Williamsville/Williamsville East) placed 120th in 30:01.1.
  • Jerome Masters (Grand Island/Grand Island) and Benaleo Daniels (Binghamton/Binghamton) completed Buffalo State’s scoring, finishing 150th (30:54.9) and 160th (31:25.5) respectively.
