Edward V. Fiolkowski, 72, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully under Hospice care on November 21, 2025. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Stanley and Sophie (nee Zbigniewicz) Fiolkowski. Ed is survived by his brother, David (Rosemary) Fiolkowski; his nephew, Scott (Laura) Hnatyszyn; his great-niece, Lillian Hnatyszyn; great-nephew, Parker Hnatyszyn, his cousin, Teresa (Carl) Hriczak, as well as several other cousins.
In his youth, Ed enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, he graduated from LaSalle High School in 1971. He retired from the New York State Power Authority after 30 years of service. He enjoyed spending time and hunting at his camp in Farmersville. His additional leisure time was spent taking trips to Siesta Key playing golf with his brother, Dave and his buddy, Fred.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 30 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin on Monday, December 1 at 9:15 AM, followed by Ed’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the American Cancer Society or Niagara Hospice.
