A 67-year-old Salamanca man was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs on September 17, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.

According to New York State Troopers, Angel Martinez was traveling on State Route 219 in the Town of Boston when he almost struck a guide rail. Martinez was then given field sobriety tests which he failed. He was arrested and transported to SP Boston. He was evaluated by a drug recognition expert and determined to be under the influence of drugs.

Martinez was processed and issued tickets returnable to the Town of Boston Court on 09/24/18 at 6 PM. Martinez was also arrested in April of this year on State Route 219 for the same offense.
