
WHEATFIELD – On November 13th, 2025 at 13:20 Hours, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a call reporting a house fire at 6935 Nash Road in the Town of Wheatfield.
Niagara County Sheriff’s Deputies responded and confirmed smoke was emanating from the roof of the residence at that address. Following the evacuation of the residents, the fire was subsequently extinguished by members of the Adams Volunteer Fire Company. Adams was assisted by members of the St. Johnsburg, Bergholz and Shawnee Volunteer Fire Companies. Additionally, the City of North Tonawanda and Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station Fire Departments also provided aid in the efforts.
The residence sustained heavy fire and smoke damage. No injuries were reported. Losses were estimated at $100,000 to the structure and $40,000 to the contents. The Red Cross is providing assistance to the two residents and multiple pets affected by the fire. An investigation into the cause of the fire by the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit is underway.
