Theresa Booze Englesson, 71, of Grand Island, New York, passed away after a short illness on October 17, 2025, at Buffalo General Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late James Roundtree and Zola King and stepdaughter of the late Willie King and Inez Roundtree; she attended local schools.

Theresa relocated to Rochester, NY, and Akron, Ohio, and returned home to Niagara Falls, NY, where she worked various jobs. 

Theresa enjoyed fishing, listening to Gospel music, cooking, playing electronic Bid Whist, and above all, attending church. Theresa was passionate about her faith and enjoyed sharing the Gospel wherever and with whomever she could. As a result, she was instrumental in leading many to accept Christ.

Theresa is survived by brothers Terry Booze, Niagara Falls, NY, and Archbishop Stephan (Celestine) Booze, both of Niagara Falls, NY, half-brothers David Roundtree of Middleport, NY, Michael, Telnel, and Simeon Roundtree, all of Buffalo, NY. Duane Roundtree, Tyrone Roundtree, and Dale Roundtree, all of Akron OH., Salome Roundtree, Scranton PA, Saleem Roundtree Lackawanna NY, and James Roundtree Jr. Dallas, TX, Half-sisters Dorrain Roundtree Buffalo NY, Miriam Roundtree, Lancaster PA, and Aneesa Roundtree of Dallas TX. Her granddaughter Deja Jenae Coleman and great granddaughter Celine Jeiane Coleman of Atlanta, Ga, and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and close friends.  Theresa was predeceased by Father James Roundtree, Mother Zola King, her children Shaloin Smith, daughter Shameek Smith, husband Keith Englesson, brother Sidney Booze, half-brothers: Troy Booze, Mark Roundtree, and half-sister Debra Roundtree.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30 from 11 AM – 12 PM at Potters House Christian Community Church, 723 7th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14301, where homegoing services will begin at 12 PM.  Interment in Oakwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements by M.J.
