A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. Born Genevieve Galuszka on Friday, October 10, 1941, to Carrie (nee Maciejewski) and Edward Galuszka in Buffalo, New York, Jean lived a life filled with warmth and compassion.
A dedicated professional, Jean retired as a secretary from Niagara Envelope, where her meticulous nature and friendly demeanor made her a beloved colleague. However, her greatest joy came from her family.
As the beloved wife of the late Richard Fronczak, together they built a home filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew them.
Jean is survived by her devoted children, Sue (Mark) Gawron, Jeffrey (Gail) Fronczak, and Kim (Alexander) Keszeli, who carry forward her spirit and values.
As a loving grandmother, she took immense pride in her grandchildren: Bradley Gawron, Victoria (Emil Devincentis Sr.) Fronczak, Taylor Gawron, Lauren Fronczak, Alexander (Nicole) Keszeli, and Nicholas Keszeli. Her heart swelled with joy as she recently welcomed her great-grandson, Emil Devincentis Jr. and was very excited for the upcoming arrival of Baby Keszeli.
Jean was also a cherished sister, remembered fondly by her siblings Joan (late Edward) Kaczmarowski, Kathleen (Lou Frable and the late Vern) Luscom, and the late Leonard (late Sheila) Galuszka, late Grace (late Leo) Rys, late Bill (Pat) Galuszka, late Ron (late Pat) Galuszka, late Gerald (Karen and the late Denise) Galuszka, late Judy Vrenna, late Ted (Kasia) Galuszka, and late Evelyn (late Mike) Lesakowski. She leaves behind a loving extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, October 30th from 4-7 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, located at 2400 William Street, near Harlem Road.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew’s Church, corner of Crocker & Reiman Sts., Sloan on Friday morning at 9:30 AM, followed by burial at St. Matthew’s Cemetery in West Seneca, New York.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, honoring Jean’s spirit of giving and compassion.
Jean’s life was a testament to the power of love and family. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
Please leave a message in the Guest Book or upload a photo to the Online Photo Album. Her family and loved ones will cherish these memories and serve as a reminder of the love and joy she brought into the world.
