Rita A. Masocco, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Mary Frances (Bell) Robinson.
Rita was a proud 1972 graduate of LaSalle Senior High School and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree from Niagara County Community College. On May 15, 1981, she married the love of her life, Donald A. Masocco, and together they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage.
Rita worked as a dedicated Bookkeeper at RUS Industries and later brought her talents to Seneca Niagara Casino, where she served as both a Bookkeeper and Cashier. She was known for her sharp mind, warm heart, and unwavering work ethic.
A true sci-fi enthusiast, Rita found joy in watching her favorite programs and movies, but nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her family—especially her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
In addition to her husband, Donald, Rita is survived by her children, Jessica (Christopher) Elliott and Steven (Jessica) Masocco; her cherished grandchildren, McKenzie Elliott and Mason and Maxon Masocco; her siblings, Margaret (Robert) Berndt, Lewis (Toby) Robinson, and Perry Robinson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
