Falling behind 3-1 in the first half the Purple Eagles mounted a comeback but eventually fell 5-4 against the Peacocks at Jaroschak Field in Jersey City, N.J.
 
Saint Peter’s started off the scoring in the 9th minute of the game with a penalty kick. The Peacocks added to their lead with goals at the 24th and 29th minute of play.
 
Sophomore Soraya Ross scored the opening goal for the Purple Eagles in the 39th minute. Zoe Marque picked up the assist on Ross’s goal.
 
To start the second half of play the Peacocks added two more goals at the 47th and 49th minute respectively.
 
Niagara would not go away recording the last three goals of the contest. Mahelie Barbeau scored the Purple Eagles second goal of the contest at the 54th minute. Later in the 56th minute Sarah Lucas cut Saint Peter’s led to two.
 
Caitlyn Gratton rounded out the scoring for the Purple and White in the 82nd minute.
