
Paul A. Andrzejczyk, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family under the compassionate care of Niagara Hospice.
Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Paul was the son of the late Chester and Theresa (Ficner) Andrzejczyk. He was a proud graduate of LaSalle Senior High School and went on to earn his Associate’s Degree in Industrial Technology from SUNY Erie, where he was an active member of their Fraternity Club.
Paul dedicated over 30 years of service as a Laboratory Technician at DuPont in Niagara Falls, where his meticulous nature and quiet dedication earned the respect of colleagues.
A devout Catholic throughout his life, Paul was a former member of Holy Trinity Church, where he received his three sacraments as a child. In recent years, he found comfort as a parishioner of St. Leo’s Church in the Town of Niagara. He was also a longtime member of the Echo Club in Niagara Falls.
Paul’s passions including tending to his garden, fishing, camping, and attending concerts. One of his favorite traditions was attending the annual Renaissance Fair in Sterling, NY.
Above all, he cherished time spent with his siblings and held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephew.
Paul is survived by his siblings, Chester Andrzejczyk, and Connie (late Albert) Emmens; his nieces, Cindy (Rick) Horton, Michelle (Adam) Sherwood and his nephew, Adam Andrzejczyk. He is also survived by his great-nieces, Kennedy (fiancé Nolan) Blencowe, Alexis and Leah Andrzejczyk; and his great-nephews, Anthony (Jodie) Blencowe, Declan, Cameron and Aiden Sherwood, and Lucas, Jordon Andrzejczyk, his companion Janick Garris of over 25 years, as well as many cousins and his special friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Paul’s doctors, Bhuvana Ramkumar, Annemarie Bannister Peter Muscarella II, and their staff for the outstanding care. A special thank you as well to the entire staff of Niagara Hospice for the care and compassion given to Paul.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 21 from 1 – 6 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin Monday, September 22 at 9:30 AM, followed by Paul’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Leo’s Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, Niagara Hospice or a charity of one’s choice.
