LOCKPORT — Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that Patrick J. Washington, III, 20 years old, of Buffalo, was sentenced today to 17 years in prison followed by 5 years post-release supervision on his conviction of Manslaughter in the First Degree. Washington previously plead guilty to intentionally running 26 year old Xavier T. Gober of Niagara Falls over with his vehicle and causing his death on October 15, 2024, on Hyde Park Blvd. in the City of Niagara Falls.
The case was investigated by the Niagara Falls Police Department and prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney Doreen Hoffmann and Assistant District Attorney Carrington Crossley. County Court Judge Caroline Wojtaszek imposed sentence.
