James M. ‘Jim’ Brady, 61, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Born in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of the late Mary Ann (Murphy) and Peter M. Brady, Sr.
Jim attended Niagara Wheatfield High School. He was employed in production for Silpos in Niagara Falls, NY. Jim was a Volunteer Firefighter for Town of Niagara Active Hose for close to 30 years, and most recently with Bergholtz Volunteer Fire Company for 3 years, and enjoyed spending time at the Firehalls and working Bingo. Jim loved to camp and hunt, and will be remembered for his storytelling, his outgoing nature, and appreciation of country music.
Jim is survived by his son, James M. (Stephanie) Brady, Jr.; his siblings, Kathleen (Dennis) Dotts and Peter M. (Amber) Brady, Jr., and his former wife, Mary Louise Brady, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Jim was sadly predeceased by his fianceé, Sheri Manarino and his sister, Patricia (late William) Richter.
